UXO whilst being a dangerous legacy contaminant can also be encountered as an artefact in the archaeological context. RPS is currently developing its Military Archaeological Consultancy and Explosives Services concerning archaeology and explosives legacies.
Working closely with Glasgow University Archaeological Research Department (GUARD) and their specialist team in “Conflict Archaeology” under Dr Tony Pollard, RPS can now provide archaeological consultancy and UXO risk assessments and site support.
Importantly, together RPS and GUARD provide comprehensive research and investigations in Battlefield or Military Contexts including site recording, site investigations and war grave recovery.
