Stokvis Energy Systems have developed a brand new range of packaged plate heat exchangers. Products in the Econoplate range are suitable for use in a wide variety of tasks in commercial and public sector buildings.

The entire Econoplate range runs to approximately two hundred different units, suitable for a multitude of hot water production tasks including, swimming pool heating and other complex process heating tasks.

One of the main benefits of using a packaged plate heat exchanger is that the water is heated instantly on demand, negating the need for hot water storage systems. This is a benefit in itself as water storage systems can take up a lot of space and are fairly expensive to install and maintain. Also a packaged plate heat exchanger system is a great way to save money and energy, as only the water used is heated.

Energy Efficient Water Heating

The heat exchanger is made up by a number of gasketed stainless steel plates contained within an epoxy coated frame. Should the demand for more hot water arise more plates can be easily added to the heat exchanger.

The packaged plate heat exchangers are ideal for use in a system where the heat of the water to be supplied regularly varies. The heat exchangers use only the water they need to and are able to change flow rate easily and quickly.

The majority of Econoplate systems feature advanced technologies to ensure energy efficient water heating. Primary pumps with efficient three or four port motorised control valves are used and are controlled by a custom PID controller designed to control the motorised valves and also to measure the secondary water temperature. This high quality approach ensures that Econoplate units can be easily accommodated into most BMS systems.
