The Scottish Energy and Environment Conference (SEEC) is now regarded as the Flagship Event of its kind for Scotland.
The event attracts approximately 400 decision makers and influencers from organisations such as Local Authorities, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts, Universities, Schools and businesses from sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction and Engineering among others.
The event is aimed at helping energy and environmental professionals meet their future challenges. It features an extensive exhibition of key suppliers and service providers running alongside conference presentations from some of the industry's key figures which makes this the ideal setting for discussion, debate and learning.
It will attract hundreds of visitors who need advice and guidance from the experts, to see new products and technologies and find out about the latest news on emerging legislation.
This event is designed to meet the needs of both exhibitors and delegates alike and we work very closely with professional bodies and leading industry figures to promote the event widely engaging the right kind of audience for the event.
The 2012 conference programme will feature presentations on the Government’s new Green Deal initiative, smarter cities and from climate change to behaviour change among many others. The Chairman is Chris Hines MBE, former Director of the Eden Project with the Keynote Address being delivered by a Scottish Minister to be announced in due course.
SEEC is sponsored this year by Scottish Government, BAE Systems Surface Ships and powerPerfector with Partners such as; North Lanarkshire Council, Energy Saving Trust, Association for Organics Recycling, Low Carbon Economy, British Hydropower Association, New Energy World Network, Ground Source Heat Pump Association, UK Sustainable Development Association, The Energy Agency, the UK’s National Centre for Biorenewable Energy, Fuels and Materials, Carbon Masters, Health Facilities Scotland and Enviro News.
