H2Onics

H2Onics was setup in 1987 from the largest defence equipment manufacturer in the UK. H2Onics supply water treatment equipment such as under sink filtration systems, inductive and magnetic water conditioners, HYDRO+ in-line filters.

With access to two warehouses in the UK, one in the north and another in the south with a combined total or 6,000 line items related to the treatment of water; so supply requirements should not be an issue. H2Onics has supplied water treatment products to over 50 countries during 20 years to Governments, Industry or Consumers.

With service experience in the North African desert, Thailand/Cambodian border, Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, Hong Kong, Germany and the UK. After service we worked with UK's largest defence equipment manufacturer, promoting the equipment of the 11 companies within the group to Governments in Africa and the Far East.

Inductive / Magnetic Water Conditioners

These water conditioners use magnetic technology to prevent limescale build up on pipe work, water tanks, boilers and other domestic and Industrial appliances. The water is not softened in the traditional sense of the word.

Hydro+ In-line Filters

The new HYDRO+ range of filters from Britain’s largest manufacturer of in-line filters are available in 6" and 10" lengths. They are injection moulded polypropylene filters, these are produced using revolutionary spin welding equipment. This form of welding produces a hermetically sealed product of very high quality. As the product is manufactured in the U.K. it allows for smaller quantities to be produced for clients that want specific media amongst other requirements.

There are a variety of connections available:

• 1/4" pushfit
• 3/8” pushfit
• 1/4" female thread
• 3/8" female thread
• 3/8” spigot
• ¾” BSP male connection
• 15mm compression

Other HYDRO+ variants like the popular 3/4" male connection which is for fast attachment to vending, catering and similar equipment.

Under Sink Filtration Systems

One system does not suit all; with regional water quality variations, system use, budget and aesthetics all playing a part.  We therefore offer a variety of systems. Special Taps are also available to match surroundings. (see Aqualyze water filter range)

UV Sterilizers

UV Sterilizers work by preventing living cell multiplication by dissociating its DNA structure. The UV dose for destroying  modular chains is dependent on the organism type. These units have a wavelength of 253.7nm which is in the middle of the UV  region (200-280 nm) which gives  it its germicidal properties.

Using Ultraviolet Sterilizers for disinfection has several benefits:

• Economical – Running costs and maintenance cost are low.
• Environmentally Friendly -  These UV Sterilizers produce no toxic substances or alter the chemical properties or taste of the water.
• Safe and Reliability - This method is 100% safe as nothing is added to the water.

With more than half a million people in the U.K. with their only source of water being a private supply. There sources of water fall into one of three main categories. The units use a water chamber to allow maximum use of the UV energy.  Selection of UV system is based on maximum expected flow rate.
