Red Acoustics undertake all noise and vibration monitoring and assessments as required for the scheme to enable the project specific criteria to be accurately assessed. Red Acoustics present clear reports and provide open communication links with key project personnel to facilitate strategic input at early project stages and to avoid unnecessary costs to the scheme.

Noise Modeling

To aid those in the early planning stages of buildings and complexes, Red Acoustics offer an outdoor noise evaluation service. Their experienced and highly trained team use CadnaA noise modeling software to predict the propagation of outdoor noise or noise emissions from plant or buildings. The CadnaA software is an advanced program which allows the user to easily configure all of the parameters of the model. It can anticipate and assess the levels of noise from:

• Infrastructure such as roads, train lines and airfields

• Wind Farms

• Leisure facilities, such as stadiums, pubs and clubs

• Industrial works

• Other sources of noise, such as ventilation plants

Results are displayed using coloured noise maps and contour plots, in line with national guidelines. This allows simple and easily understood results for presentation to clients and governing bodies.
