Energy from Waste Products
The generation of electricity from refuse is an expanding field of experience. Currently operating energy sources include bio fuels, mass burning of sawdust, fibreboard, and landfill gasses for combined heat and power generation. Customers facing increasing energy and fuel prices are increasingly working to enhance the sustainability of their companies by choosing new fuel sources produced as industrial by-products or from refuse disposal.
Often, these materials can be processed and utilised on-site, reducing the need for buying conventional fuels for provision of energy and heat. The financial reasoning for this is complicated, encouraged by tax inducements and regulations. RPS offer advice for customers about the economics of producing energy from waste products on an industrial scale.
Air Quality Regulation Services
Contaminants released into the environment can damage the health of humans, plants and animals. The also accelerate climate change and global warming.
