The World Development Movement (WDM) campaigns to tackle the root causes of poverty. Joining movements around the world, we win justice for the world's poorest people.
WDM believes that charity is not enough. With insightful analysis and creative action, we have brought important issues out of the shadows. We mobilise public pressure on governments and companies to change the policies that keep people poor.
We currently have three active campaigns on debt, trade justice and the global water crisis. Our current campaign "Dirty Aid Dirty Water" calls for the UK government to invest financially and politically in public solutions to the global water crisis.
